Ovulation can be monitored in a natural or hormone-induced cycle, and the couple is instructed to have sexual intercourse at home on the correct dates and times.

This way, there's no need to go to the clinic for medical procedures or to have a semen sample collected. It's as close to natural as possible.

INDICATIONS:

This treatment is indicated in cases where the woman does not have regular ovulation (chronic anovulation, with irregular menstrual cycles and long intervals, or in polycystic ovary syndrome), when the man has a mild seminal alteration, or when no alterations were found in the requested tests (unexplained infertility).

CONDITIONS FOR TREATMENT:

Scheduled dating is only effective when both of the following conditions are met.

Female condition: at least one fallopian tube functioning well (hysterosalpingography). Male condition: at least 5 million motile spermatozoa in seminal processing and with Kruger morphology greater than or equal to 4% (spermogram).

SUCCESS RATES:

Because it is a very simple treatment, success rates are not high. They hover around 15% success in each treatment cycle.

It is suggested to change techniques if pregnancy is not achieved after three attempts.
